Tutorial: Setting up and administrating leagues with Sportivo


Welcome to the ultimate guide for managing your leagues efficiently on Sportivo! Whether you're a seasoned administrator or a novice, this tutorial will walk you through the essential steps to streamline your league process. 

  

As league administrator overseeing your league, your role is pivotal in facilitating organisation and administration, and you will have full administrative access. This means you can review, edit, update results, and view the match card photo as needed.


To ensure effective management on the Sportivo platform, please follow the outlined steps:


Here is what we will be covering:

1. Profile creation: 

Create your profiles on the Sportivo platform if you haven't already done so. This will serve as your official account for managing netball activities within the district.


If you haven't created a profile yet:

  • Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for a message from us with instructions.
  • Follow the email instructions to create your profile.


If you have a profile but forgot your password:

 

2. Role permissions:


  • Administrator: 
    You have full access. The people assigned to this role are the only ones that will have access to the ‘Organisation’ tab. This allows you to add members, create leagues, oversee registrations, and create chat groups.
  • Match administrators:
    As the league administrator, you should assign yourself as a match administrator so that you can view the results from a point of overseeing if results are being updated in a task format. 


  • Coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers:
    Manage players, update results, create calendar events, manage team sheets.


If you need more people added to the platform that will be assisting you, then you can do so by adding them as members and assigning them as administrators or the role that you require. Use the provided link below to see how:

 

3. Creating and setting up leagues:

Establish leagues under your organisation on the Sportivo platform. This will enable schools or clubs to participate in the organised leagues within their respective areas. Use the provided link below to see how:


4. Updating and correcting results:

After each netball match, promptly update the results on the Sportivo platform to maintain accurate records and standings. Click on the below link to see how:
