Tutorial: For a team manager or coach when participating in a tournament or league.

Welcome to the ultimate guide for efficiently managing your team in a league or tournament with Sportivo! Whether you're a seasoned administrator or a novice, this tutorial will walk you through the essential steps to streamline your club management process. 

Here's what we'll cover:

1. Profile creation:

If you haven't created a profile yet:

• Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for a message from us with instructions.
• Follow the email instructions to create your profile.

If you have a profile but forgot your password:

• Use the provided Password Reset Link to reset your password.

2. Role permissions:

You will have roles as coaches, assistant coaches and team managers, granting access to register, manage team sheets, and update results.

3. Adding team players:

Note: Look for the email containing your unique player registration link. If you can't find it, don't worry, you can still proceed with the following steps.

Player registration:

Option 1:

Share the unique player registration link with your players (or their parents). They can register themselves, and you can review, change, or add to their registrations later.

Option 2:

• Log in to the coach's portal using this link:

• Follow the steps to add, view, or edit your players' registrations:
   Click here to, Edit your player's registration.

Note: Once you've completed this step, your team will be registered in the system, and you'll only need to maintain the team sheets.

4. Updating team sheets:

Use provided guides for adding or changing players, leadership and team sheets for upcoming matches. You can also use the system to print out the Team Sheet, including the South African Boksmart Team Sheet.

Web browser or admin portal:

Mobile:

It's also possible to manage your team on the mobile app. Follow mobile guides for adding players and updating team sheets:

5. Matches and updating results:

Depending on the rules of the tournament, you may have the ability to update the stats and capture results of your team's matches.

• Web Browser or Admin portal: Update match results for your team's matches.

6. Changing fixture dates, times & locations:

At times, the matches listed on Sportivo only specify the dates for upcoming fixtures. Coaches or managers representing the hosting organisations must update the times and locations for their team's matches.
