Creating a Friendly Tournament is done much the same as a tournament, but will not have the tournament structure component. Playoffs however, can be part of a Friendly Tournament. Points rules still apply. Live match statistics can also be recorded, confirmed, saved and published on the app.
1. Navigate to https://sportivo.app/admin/#/public/home
2. Click on "Log in".
3. Click "Sign with Email and Password".
4. Click on "Organisation".
5. Click on "Competitions".
6. Click on the "+" icon.
7. This will allow you to add your Description i.e. "Friendly Test" and the criteria for your event.
8. Click on "Event Type".
9. Click on "Friendlies".
10. Click on "Start Date".
11. Select the appropriate date the Tournament starts.
12. Click on "End Date".
13. Select the appropriate date the tournament ends.
14. Click on "Match Confirmation Rule".
1. Coach & Manager - One Team Update: In this approach, only one team (usually the home team or a designated team) is responsible for updating the results of the match. This simplifies the process, as it ensures only one source inputs data.
2. Tournament Tech Table: Here, a central Match Administrator or a tech table team updates the results for multiple matches. This approach is typically used in tournament settings where a neutral party manages the results to ensure accuracy and consistency across.
15. Click on the appropriate rule.
16. Click on "OK".
17. Click on "Event Created".
18. Click on the "+" to add your Tournament / Friendlies.
19. Click on "Sport".
20. Select the appropriate sport for the Friendly.
21. Click on "Gender".
22. Select the appropriate gender.
23. Click on "Age Group".
24. Select the appropriate age group.
25. Click the "Periods per Match" field and add the appropriate periods per match.
26. Click on "Minutes per Period" and add the appropriate minutes per period.
27. Click "OK".
28. Click on the three dots.
29. Click on "Manage".
30. Click on the "pencil icon" to add your teams.
31. Click on "Description" and type in the school / organization you would like to add.
32. Click on "Search".
33. Select the appropriate teams.
34. Click on "OK".
35. Click on " All Matches".
36. Click on the three dots.
37. Click on "Add Matches".
38. Click on "Tournament Phase".
39. Click on "Friendlies".
40. Click the "Number of Matches".
41. Type in the number of matches you would like to have generated and click on "OK".
When adding matches there are 2 options.
1. Add matches manually by following the steps below.
42. Click "on " All Matches", then on the three dots alongside the match ID number.
43. Click "Edit Details"
44. Click on the "calendar icon".
45. Select the appropriate date of the match.
46. Select the appropriate time the match is taking place. It will ask you to select both the hour and minutes.
47. Select the minutes.
48. To add a field / location please select the "Not Listed" function.
49. Then you may use free text to type in the location the match is taking place at, e.g. Astro 1
50. Click on the "Home Team".
51. A dropdown will appear. Please select the appropriate teams for both home and away.
52. Click on "Save".
2. You can download an excel sheet an upload after adding all the relevant info i.e. dates, times, location and teams.
53. Click on the three dots on the top right of the screen.
54. Click on "DOWNLOAD FIXTURES".
You will now be downloading the excel spreadsheet where you will create your fixtures and allocate their times, dates, and locations. When opening the Excel spreadsheet, you will see that there are columns marked in purple. Please do not edit those columns.
You will only be editing the following columns:
Match Date, Match Time, Match Location, Team 1 & Team 2.
The Team 1 and Team 2 columns have dropdown's with the teams that you selected in the structure of your league. This will make assigning teams to fixtures much faster. If any help is needed during the Excel spreadsheet section, please contact our support team.

55. Click on the three dots top right of the screen.
56. Click on "UPLOAD FIXTURES".
57. Click on "Browse File".
58. Click on "UPLOAD".
59. You will see that all of your fixtures will populate. Click on "Matches".
60. The matches from the upload will appear in the fixtures.
61. Another option to view the uploaded fixtures. Click on "All Matches".
62. The matches will then appear in a list.
63. When selecting "Tournament Tech table" as a confirmation rule, you will need to add a Match-Administrator. Navigate to the "People" tab.
Click on "People".
64. Click on "Match Administrator".
65. Click on "Available Match Administrator".
66. Click the add button next to your the name you would like to add.
67. This step is optional. You are also able to add resources to your friendly tournament once it has been created in the 'Resources' tab.
Click on "Resources"
68. Click on "Select File".
The types of files that you are able to add are links, images or pdf's. This could be emergency numbers, Google map links, tournament / event rules etc.
You are almost done! The last step is to share the tournament when you have
completed all of the above. This will allow spectators, coaches, managers and
players to follow the tournaments.
69. Click on the "arrow". Tope left of the screen.
70. This will take you back to the competitions page. Select the tournament event that you would like to share. Click on your "event".
71. Notice there will be an "X" under the shared title at the top. This means that it is not shared.
72. Click on the three dots next to your friendly tournament you would like to share.
73. Click on "Share".
74. Notice that the "X" will now change to a " ü". This means that it is shared.
